Residential
New houses and major alterations for private clients, mostly in Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Raithby and the Atlantic Seaboard. Double storeys, basements, pools and timber decks, generally in the R5m to R25m range and generally with an architect and a QS already appointed.
Commercial & institutional
Schools, hostels, wine cellars and apartment buildings. Nearly all of this work carries a handover date set by something outside the building programme — a school term, a harvest, a lease — and that is the part we are built for.
Civils
Bulk earthworks, layerworks, subsoil drainage and building platforms, both as main contractor and as a subcontractor to one. Wet ground and high water tables are normal rather than exceptional on Cape Flats and Winelands sites.
